I’m looking to buy around 10 acres of barren land near water source in India, pref in UP. If anyone is selling then let me know. Agents not welcome, only owners need to reply.

I’m looking to buy around 10 acres of barren land near water source in India, pref in UP.
Just wanted to check if you know that you as NRI/OCI can’t buy barren land in (almost) all of India except Rajasthan and MP? Only farmers and company directors can buy barren lands in most of the states.
