Hello everyone, I’ve decided to pursue higher studies abroad and wanted to know which is the best country for a female Indian student. I would also like to stay in that country for job. I’ve narrowed down on USA, UK, Australia in that order. I’m still doing more research but can’t make up my mind. I would love to hear opinion from other female students if possible. I come from a traditional family and my parents are nervous for letting me go study abroad. I’ve to convince him. If you could share your experience then it will help me.

Hi Gauri, There are so many things to consider before you can decide which is the best country. There is no such thing as best country, based on your requirements and expectation you pick the country. I’ve just completed my degree in the UK. Based on my own personal experience I can say that UK beat all other countries hands down when it comes to study for female students. I feel safe here. I cant’ say the same for the USA, I have many friends there and they don’t feel comfortable even though they will not open up about it. Read USA news and you will figure out what I want to say. Can’t comment on Australia much but as much as I know it can be a difficult for Indian students and specially female students. Is Canada in your list? You can try there too if you can bear extreme cold.
UK gets my vote too.
